Maoake Villa is situated in Matavera, a living/working village where locals go about their day to day business without the usual visitor traffic.

It is located on the east side of the island a short 10-15 minute drive to Avarua, and a 2 minute drive to the swimming beaches of Muri Lagoon and 2 minutes walk to a dairy.

The property is very spacious and cool with double sliding doors along the whole of one side of the house leading out to an enormous covered verandah. There is a large yard for kids.

Entering from the verandah, the house opens up to a very roomy living area with an open plan kitchen. To the left is the master bedroom which has its own ensuite, a queen size bed, double sliding doors out to the verandh and lots of closet space. To the right of the living room is the second bedroom with two singles. Both bedrooms are screened.

The beach across the road from the property is one of the best fishing beaches on the island. The marine life is abundant and locals come from all over the island to fish for Trevalli, Moki, Cod, Octopus, Shellfish and other island delicacies. Kids can spend hours exploring the reef, gathering shells or paddling in the rock pools.

The beach is not suitable for swimming. But the swimming beaches of Muri are only a two minute drive away.

The minimum tariff is for 1 weeks stay (7 days).  
The tariff for Maoake Villa starts at NZ$1190.00 per week for the whole house.
