Set in the village of Titikaveka on the south side of Rarotonga, down a winding family road amongst fruit trees and wild ginger is Kia Manuia Cottage.

This 2 bedroom home is perfect for small families wanting quality accommodation at an excellent price. The area (Titikaveka) is renowned for pristine beaches (400 metres away) and fertile land, amongst the locals its known as "the country".

Surrounding the property are mango, banana and paw paw trees and of course, coconut trees are everywhere.

From the veranda you look out the lawn, ideal for kids to cut loose, the road is quiet and only used by those that live on it. Through the sliding door Kia Manuia opens up to the main living area with ample room for everyone during the rainy days. TV and DVDs will keep the kids occupied and wifi will keep the parents out of trouble. To the left of the living room is a full kitchen, and to the right are the two bedrooms, the master has a queen, and the second bedroom has two singles, there is ample wardrobe space in both.

Getting to the beach will take 5 minutes, pack a lunch because you probably won't want to leave. The sand is deep and white, and the lagoon azure blue.

Hi Eddie,

Just a note to say thanks for the usual efficient service we enjoyed while visiting your lovely island over the last 2 weeks. Kia Manuia Cottage was ideal for us - just an easy walk to the beach, store or bus. The cottage was so well presented with everything we could need and in a quiet area, (except for the roosters at 3am!!! But i expect you get used to them).

We are already planning our next visit.

Cheers, Philippa and John

Thanks Eddie. We had an amazing time. The house was very clean when we arrived and had everything and more than we expected. I'm sure we had the best location on the island for snorkelling. We also enjoyed a few drinks with our neighbours one night. Thanks for the use of the machete too.

Glenn
