Tropical Sands has the quiet and solitude of a private beach and is located on Rarotongas east coast, an area known for its rugged coastline, great reef walks and coastal fishing. Beautiful swimming beaches are located just four minutes drive at Muri beach. A fifteen-minute drive in the opposite direction will bring you to the main township of Avarua. A bus stop located outside the property will take you in either direction.

This property is quite literally on the beach with stunning 180 degree views of the of the east’s coastline. The morning will bring spectacular sunrises out of the Pacific Ocean and the evening will bring the moon rising from the sea.

A large balcony sets the stage for great outdoor dining and relaxing with the ocean an appropriate backdrop. Through the sliding doors into the main living area is a gorgeously appointed studio with a queen-size double bed affording views of the reef and ocean without ever really getting out of bed. Just to the right is an indoor dining area and kitchen, with stairs leading up to the single bed open mezzanine floor.
