Unique in that this private home has been purpose built with the needs of the overseas visitor specifically in mind. An idyllic location situated on the Western side of the island in the district of Arorangi where the days are extended with the late afternoon sun and added bonus of the beautiful tropical sunsets.
The home consists of three bedrooms, walk thru wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms lie off the two main bedrooms that open out onto the wide spacious verandah and face the lagoon. Super king-size beds in each main bedroom one of which can be separated into singles and two single beds in the third bedroom. A third bathroom serves the third bedroom and the remainder of the house. All bedrooms are air conditioned with ceiling fans throughout. All windows and doors are security and insect screened.
The modern kitchen with full stove, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker is well stocked with all the kitchenware you will need for your stay. In the laundry there is washing machine and dryer plus plenty of linen, towels and beach towels.
The spacious lounge/living area has comfortable seating with TV and Radio for those stay at home days and an indoor dining table seating up to six. Sliding doors extending out onto the verandah with warm sea breezes make it an ideal climate and the verandah the perfect place to fire up the BBQ, entertain and dine alfresco.
From the verandah you step down to the cool and refreshing swimming pool [there is a gate at the top of the steps for those little ones] and the white sandy beach and blue lagoon is ten metres beyond that. There are also a number of sun loungers around the pool to soak up the sun. Arorangi is home to a number of good restaurants and two of Rarotonga's art galleries. A convenience store for the day-to-day basics is one minute�s walk.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Heritage - the house is amazing and suited us perfectly. We appreciated the space and as we were a group of 6 adults having 3 bathrooms made life so much easier. It was great to have the choice of the beach or the pool and private garden and sitting out on the veranda in the evenings watching the sunset was truly luxurious. Thank you for the welcome flowers and fruit bowl - such a great selection of fresh local treats which really impressed those who had not been to Rarotonga before.
The art collection in Heritage is the best I have seen in all the places we have stayed and really impressed me (one of my passions) - thanks for sharing. Thanks too for our calendar.
See you again next year sometime - maybe another family trip (they had such a wonderful time).

Hi Eddie,
Our family group really enjoyed the week we had at Heritage earlier this month.
The house is large enough to give everyone space and the main bedrooms with en suites on either end of the house is an excellent layout.
We found plenty of linen and towels etc and having the large washing machine is great for getting laundry done and dried in no time in the lovely climate we enjoyed.
The pool is fantastic even for my 6'6" frame and having the beach and lagoon so close was great for walks and snorkelling.
Two of our group had never been to Raro and they loved it.
It was sad to leave but great knowing of your excellent place for any future family holidays.

Already 4 weeks ago we had the pleasure to find Rarotonga and Heritage. We had a very pleasant stay, every thing has been for the best.
Thank you very much for the fruitbasket, lovely to find fresh fruit and tomatos for the arrival. We really enjoyed our stay and we will certainly come back again. The next time hopefully for more than a week.

Just wanted to contact you & let you know about the very enjoyable stay we had at the Heritage last week. The house completely met our expectations and we were not disappointed. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the property was very spacious & comfortable. Having a starter pack of fruit, milk & tea etc was a very nice touch and we appreciated it. The location was also great and we would not hesitate in recommending the Heritage to others. In fact, several Kiwis who passed us on the beach commented on what a great spot it was! Our trip was very enjoyable (excluding the wild weather on early Monday morning!) and we look forward to perhaps staying again in the near future.

Wow!!! The Heritage was warm, welcoming & designed for comfort thoroughly enjoyed by us ALL. The water-cooler & fruit bowl was a blessing. Each room with it's own ensuite was such a luxury. ... this email is to thank you again for providing such an awesome place to stay. We really appreciated the fruit basket but most of all the water bottle. Having been to Rarotonga before and knowing we'd have to source some water this was like Christmas.
The pool was great and put to lots of use as was the deck. I really loved all the plants around the garden and took lots of photos to help in my own gardening.

Just a quick note to say thank you very much for the opportunity to stay at The Heritage last week. We all had a fantastic time and the house itself was better than we could have wished for. Having the pool and deck area was just wonderful and it made for a really great and relaxing base from which to explore Raro. We ended up being quite lucky with the weather and only had a couple of darker days, so got in plenty of snorkeling, even over the Mai Tai wreck which was exciting.
So thanks again from all of us, and we'll definitely be giving you a yell for our next trip back to Raro.

Just a quick note to say thank you for assisting with our Raro holiday last month - we had a lovely time and really enjoyed the property. Some lovely family time was spent on the deck and in the pool enjoying the warm weather. Alex, our son, is particularly missing his "Chicken TV" - watching the roosters and chickens stroll through the garden was a favourite past-time. We'll be booking it again soon for next year.
